FLORENCE, S.C. — West Florence plays at home again Friday night, closing its regular season against Conway in a 7:30 p.m. region game between two teams sitting at 4-5.
The Knights need a rebound after James Island beat them 57-21 last week, outscoring West Florence in every quarter. That loss was the second straight for West Florence, which is 3-2 in the region and has scored 211 points while allowing 274.
Conway arrives on a two-game win streak after beating St. James 41-13. The Tigers have averaged 26.8 points a game this fall.
West Florence won last season’s meeting 42-7, its most lopsided win in the series. Conway still holds an 11-6 edge across 17 games since 2004, including a seven-game run of wins over the Knights at one point.
Earlier this season West Florence won three region games in a row, beating Myrtle Beach, St. James and North Myrtle Beach before a 20-14 loss to Wilson.
