South Carolina – The University of South Carolina (USC) has maintained its prestigious position as the top institution in the country for its International MBA (IMBA) program for the 11th consecutive year, according to the 2025 Best Graduate School rankings released by U.S. News & World Report on April 8, 2025. This continued accolade highlights the university’s commitment to providing high-quality education in international business.

The USC Darla Moore School of Business has remained a leader in this field, celebrating 36 years of being ranked in the top three nationally for its IMBA program. The program is designed to equip students with essential skills for navigating the complexities of global business. Through immersive in-country experiences and collaborative global coursework with esteemed partner institutions, graduates are prepared to meet the demands of multinational corporations.

In addition to its exceptional IMBA program, USC has reported noteworthy advancements across a range of graduate programs. The Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing has risen 12 spots to rank No. 81 nationally and No. 49 among public universities for its overall engineering graduate offerings. Specifically, the civil engineering program improved significantly, jumping 14 spots to No. 73, while the nuclear engineering program advanced two spots to No. 21 nationally, indicating a robust growth trajectory in these technical disciplines.

The College of Education has also seen success, moving up two positions to No. 27 among the best graduate education schools, marking an impressive increase of 60 spots over the past three years. This reflects the dedication to improving educational standards and teacher preparation at USC.

In law, the Joseph F. Rice School of Law has made strides as well, advancing three spots overall to a national ranking of No. 63 and No. 33 among public law schools. Notably, its trial advocacy program is now ranked No. 12 nationally, underscoring the school’s excellence in practical legal training.

USC’s College of Nursing has also performed well in the rankings. Its Doctor of Nursing Practice program gained six spots to achieve a ranking of No. 36, with the master’s program being recognized as the 23rd best in the nation. Additionally, for the fifth year in a row, USC’s nursing school has been acknowledged as having the top online master’s program, showcasing the institution’s adaptive approach to higher education through innovative online offerings.

Beyond individual programs, the Darla Moore School of Business’s graduate-level operations and supply chain program ranks No. 18, with the part-time MBA program also receiving recognition at No. 23. These rankings contribute to USC’s overall strength in graduate education, where it boasts more nationally ranked programs than any other college or university in South Carolina combined.
