Manning – HopeHealth has announced the addition of two new behavioral health consultants, Samantha Dukes and Neva Bailey, expanding its team of healthcare professionals dedicated to supporting the mental health needs of its patients. This expansion aims to enhance the services offered at HopeHealth Pediatrics in Manning and at the Timmonsville location, ensuring that residents have access to comprehensive behavioral health support.
Samantha Dukes, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), will serve patients at HopeHealth Pediatrics in Manning. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Francis Marion University, located in Florence, South Carolina. Dukes specializes in addressing a variety of mental health concerns, including behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, relationship distress, anger management, PTSD, and trauma.
Meanwhile, Neva Bailey, also an LPC and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CASII), will provide her services to patients in Timmonsville. Bailey has a diverse educational background that includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Applications and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management, both from Limestone College in Florence, South Carolina. She furthered her studies with a Master of Education degree in School Guidance Counseling from Cambridge College in Augusta, Georgia. Bailey, who has lived in Timmonsville for over 20 years, is well-known in her community, actively participating with the Boys and Girls Club of the Pee Dee and being a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Her clinical interests include stress management, grief and loss, anxiety and depression, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and working with children and adolescents.
HopeHealth is recognized as a nonprofit leader in providing affordable, expert primary and specialty health care services across various age groups. The organization operates federally qualified health centers and serves approximately 85,000 patients across several counties including Florence, Aiken (Infectious Diseases), Clarendon, Orangeburg, and Williamsburg. This expansion of their behavioral health team is part of HopeHealth’s ongoing commitment to improving access to mental health care and ancillary services.
