Starting January 29 and running all the way until April 9, these tax accounting students will be providing free tax return preparation services as part of the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Perfect timing for anyone looking to navigate the world of taxes without the added stress of fees!
Mark your calendars! The tax preparation sessions will be taking place every Wednesday from 5 PM to 9 PM. The students will be set up in the School of Business/School of Education building at FMU, creating a conducive environment filled with eager learners ready to assist you. However, it’s essential to remember that participants must make an appointment to benefit from this service. This ensures that everyone gets the attention they need without overcrowding.
