Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters encountered a slow-burning blaze that has affected an estimated three acres of wooded terrain. Residents in nearby neighborhoods, including Walkers Woods and Avalon, were initially evacuated due to the wildfire, but they were permitted to return to their homes later on Sunday as the situation improved.
