The assault reportedly took place at a residence on Queensferry Road, where the victim was attacked while sleeping in his bedroom. Authorities have stated that Lyde is accused of stabbing the victim in both the arm and torso areas, leading to wounds that were consistent with being attacked by a sharp blade.
