Florence, S.C. – An armed robbery that took place earlier this week has led to the arrest of one suspect, while two others remain at large. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Wednesday when three assailants approached a home located in the 900 block of Christopher Lane.
The suspects, identified as including Ty’yare McIntosh, entered the victim’s residence after it was opened. Armed with both rifles and handguns, they threatened the victim and proceeded to steal a handgun and a quantity of cash before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
On Friday, law enforcement officials arrested Ty’yare McIntosh and charged him with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was subsequently booked into the Florence County Detention Center just before 2 p.m.
Authorities utilized the city’s Flock camera system to track the suspects’ vehicle, which was located on Layton Street. However, the other two suspects were not present when the vehicle was discovered. Law enforcement agencies are actively seeking information regarding the identities and whereabouts of these individuals.
