The armed robbery took place around 2 p.m. on Christopher Lane. According to reports, three suspects approached the victim’s home and brandished rifles and handguns upon the victim opening the door. The suspects demanded valuables and subsequently stole a handgun and cash before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

After the incident, the Florence Police Department leveraged Flock cameras to identify the suspects’ vehicle. The vehicle was later located on Layton Street; however, the suspects were not found at that time.

Ty’yare McIntosh has been charged with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Following his arrest, McIntosh was booked into the Florence County Detention Center and was later released after posting an $85,000 bond.

Authorities are actively working on gathering additional information about possible accomplices involved in the robbery. Initial reports indicated that at least three suspects were involved in the incident.
