Florence, S.C. – A juvenile male has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on June 25 in Florence, South Carolina. This arrest follows the earlier apprehension of 18-year-old Ty’yare McIntosh, who faces multiple charges related to the incident.

The armed robbery took place around 2 p.m. on Christopher Lane. According to reports, three suspects approached the victim’s home and brandished rifles and handguns upon the victim opening the door. The suspects demanded valuables and subsequently stole a handgun and cash before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

After the incident, the Florence Police Department leveraged Flock cameras to identify the suspects’ vehicle. The vehicle was later located on Layton Street; however, the suspects were not found at that time.

Ty’yare McIntosh has been charged with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Following his arrest, McIntosh was booked into the Florence County Detention Center and was later released after posting an $85,000 bond.

Authorities are actively working on gathering additional information about possible accomplices involved in the robbery. Initial reports indicated that at least three suspects were involved in the incident. Law enforcement continues to encourage the public to come forward with any information regarding the suspects or the events leading up to the robbery.
