During the incident, which occurred around 2 p.m. on June 25, the victim opened the door to their home, allowing three armed individuals to enter. The suspects were reportedly armed with rifles and handguns. During the course of the robbery, they stole a handgun and an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim.

Following the robbery, law enforcement officials made an arrest in connection with the crime. Ty’yare McIntosh, an 18-year-old resident, was apprehended, along with a juvenile male whose identity has not been released. The investigation is ongoing, and Captain Stephen Starling of the Florence Police Department is leading the case. He is working to gather additional information regarding possible accomplices.

Police utilized Flock cameras as part of their investigation to trace the vehicle involved in the robbery. The car used by the suspects was later located on Layton Street; however, the suspects were not found in the vicinity at that time.
